University’s Online RN to MSN Program Ranks No. 8 in Affordability

CANYON, Texas—West Texas A&M University’s online RN to MSN degree program is ranked at No. 8 for most affordable online colleges by the SR Education Group. SR Education Group is committed to a thoughtful and data-driven approach to ranking schools that benefits students and colleges alike. 

According to the SR Education Group website, WTAMU is one of 17 schools ranked as the most affordable online RN to MSN degree programs in the United States. Rankings were determined by degrees available, tuition rates, acceptance rates, accreditation and online status. WTAMU’s annual tuition of $12,721, a 74 percent acceptance rate and SACS COC accreditation helped to put the University in the top 10 most affordable ranking.

SR Education Group said the 17 schools ranked were excellent choices for RNs looking to build upon existing knowledge through the pursuit of a master’s level degree.

Western Governors University ranked at #1, followed by Wilson College, #2, Aspen University, #3, University of South Alabama, #4, MidAmerica Nazarene University, #5, Western Kentucky University, #6, Tennessee State University, #7, WTAMU, #8, University of North Carolina at Charlotte, #9, and Roberts Wesleyan College rounded out the Top 10 for 2017. Tuition ranges for the Top 10 are $6,500 to $15,599.
