    Biography

    Dr. Kahler has been a music therapy clinician for more than 20 years working with a wide range of client populations.  He has worked with the severe and profound mentally retarded, children with various disabilities, psychiatric patients, and geriatric patients.  Dr. Kahler has also worked with patients suffering from a stroke, head injury, chronic pain, spinal cord injury, and other orthopedic conditions.  Dr. Kahler's research interests include music therapy with the visually impaired, music therapy with geriatric patients, and the training and skill development of music therapy students.
